Cheese burger, doner meat, chips, chips, cheese and gravy (not poutine, NOT POUTINE, I KNOW WHAT POUTINE IS, YES YOU HAVE IT WITH CHEESE CURDS, THIS IS WITH GRATED CHEESE, SO NOT POUTINE, GET IT, NOT POUTINE), large bottle of Coke, doner meat topped parmo and cheesey garlic mushrooms.

Poutine can be made with shredded cheese.
Curds are expensive, Shredded cheese poutne are a staple in most small town Canadian hockey rinks.

Yea. I read it, but it’s still not poutine.

This would be my choice, clearly the best of the bunch.

I NEVER SAID IT WAS POUTINE, WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP THINKING WHEN I SAY CHIPS, CHEESE AND GRAVY, THAT IT SOME HOW MEANS POUTINE. NOT POUTINE, I DIDN’T SAY IT WAS POUTINE.
Lol.

It’s still a sad lonely rip off of poutine that has to right to exist when proper poutine exists.

Dawm. Everything there looks goo od and I’m a s outh Georgia boy now, e xcept the Coke. Rich with cheese, gravy, cheese, and meat. Onions go with everything that doesn’t have sugar added. Enjoy!

Don’t rock the boat here man. Lol.
Every god damned time I type chips, cheese and gravy I get, ‘but it’s not poutine without cheese curds’, ‘it’s not poutine’, ‘it’s not proper poutine’, etc...
For the record I’ve never claimed it was poutine, just chips, cheese and gravy.

A little too much bechamel sauce though.

It’s simply....... chips............ cheese...................... and gravy. Not claimed to be poutine, similar or otherwise, just chips......... cheese................... and gravy.
Nobody in the U.K. has ever gone up to a take away and said, ‘hi mate, can I have a poutine, or can you approximate a poutine!?’.
Most Brits won’t even know what poutine is.

The parmo had a little too much bechamel sauce.

As a non-French Canadian, I'd still let that pass as poutine.

As your a non-French Canadian, then you’d be wrong. Lol.

That’s more like it.
Also I must be really thirsty because I desperately want a coke now.

the cheesy garlic mushrooms looks damn good...

You have to eat them hot because when the cheese gets cold it gets quite firm and a knife is needed.

Thanks. I was going to get a rack of ribs also but though i’d be too much.

As a non-French Canadian, it's my duty to annoy the Quebecois as much as possible. :P

Lol. Do you sing The Maple Leaf Forever!?
Nice, but I’m British, a white English, British male for that matter . I can’t. :(

In the U.K. we put bechamel sauce on parmos, lasagnes, etc...
On parmos we add bechamel sauce, any toppings and then grated cheese (often mozzarella and white cheddar).

it was all going well til you got to mushrooms

I love mushrooms (I don’t like chicken and mushroom pies though, the textures are all wrong). Add garlic and cheese, happy days.

As a French Canadian, I would have to say you succeed

Holy shit. Haven't had a proper Middlesbrough Parmo for ages.

It was good, just a little too much bechamel sauce.

Haha! I don't. I'm not a very typical Canadian. I don't like hockey and I don't drink beer.

(In all seriousness, anyone I've known from Quebec have been fine people.)
